Hey family,
Good letters this time, I wish Andy could go home every week. Does that mean he’ll be home tomorrow or something? That’s weird. I keep telling people that he has a few weeks left.
Prague was fun. Cool to be back, and even cooler to see my old MTC distinct again. I love those guys. It’s so weird to think that this means we have less than a year left. It’s going so fast. Now we’ll get to see each other every other transfer 'cause our visas only last 93 days. It was a special treat to stumble upon a Tesco. I bought some vanilla extract, a must-have for any missionary’s kitchen.
Revda is still rockin’ it hard core. There is a slight snag in the meetinghouse moving here. Our ward consists of two missionary areas in two different cities and most of the members are here in Revda and every Sunday we have to go on a bus to the other city that I won’t bother spelling out in English, I assume you, like me, glaze over any foreign words when reading missionary letters, though I think Revda is an easy one, so was Perm. Know that I am aware of such things.
Fun thing this week, our bathroom turned into a little world of pure imagination. We turned on the water which is pretty varied at times but this time pure liquid chocolate came out. It was SO gross. We put in the stopper to get a good picture and the “water” stained the tub! Radical.
Zone conference was fantastic, President read some great quotes from Elder Christopheron’s talk at a mission president's seminar. We’re working on internalizing our purpose: To invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. Sometimes the means become the end in missionary work, and we going to focus our efforts on inviting others to “come unto Christ” which is just three words summing up the plan of salvation.
Love,
The Final Magleby
