Family Lore

Hey Family,

Andy’s homecoming sounded nice, how is everyone? I’m sorry I missed it and Mat6t’s farewell, but Mat6t slept through mine so we’re all even.
Fun engagement photos; definitely use the one with Andy’s demon face. It’s got family lore written all over it.Please post a final copy of their actual engagement card so I can know where they’re registered.
All is great in Revda. Our branch here is made up of two cities, so all the members from our area have to make a trip every Sunday on the bus over to the city where the meeting house/room is. There have always been more members in Revda than the other city so they have always been trying to get the meeting house moved here, but none of the locations have worked out; until lately. They just barley officially signed an agreement with a nice section of a building in a perfect location. It’s right in the middle of the city and even better just a five minute walk from our apartment. I so hope to be here when it’s opened. This has been in the works for years and the work will get so much better once it’s here. Every time I walk past it I think one day we’ll be walking home from it after locking it up from having a great meeting there. We just got word that it will be another three months (!) because our church has to do another remodel to make it an appropriate meeting place which destroys all confidence the members had in me as I informed them that the remodel was finishing soon and we’d be there in less than a month. Жалко!
It’s really been cold lately, way colder than it was last year at this time; I think it’s looking to be a frigid winter. Boo yeah. I love fall here so much. Even though this transfer just barely started I hope to get another one here.

Oh, hey I forgot we had a culture day where we went to visit the place where they killed the Romanov’s and then the place where they dumped, grenade-ed, acid-ed, and cut up the bodies then burned them and scattered the ashes… and now there are a village of churches built on the soil, which they mow regularly. Hooray for Saints! I got in trouble for turning my back to one of the shrines. I guess I’m not as up-to-date on the apostasy as I thought. Опа!
