Hey from Chelyabinsk,
You may already know this but the literal translation of Chelyabinsk is “Radiation from on high” It was named in brief time in Russian history when they thought Radiation was a blessing from heaven.
After tomorrow I’m back to Kazakhstan for another lovely visa renewal. We are promised to only be there for two days. Which is just enough time to buy approximately 67 ties. I’m worried I won’t be able to hold back. But I mean, who knows then next time I’ll be in Kazakhstan right? It’s not like I have to go there every 93 days.
Right now I’m sitting in the basement of the post office with a bit of sugar headache wearing the finest shoes a missionary could have. My packages, all three, came! I was so surprised to see the boots inside. I thought I remembered that they weren’t that nice but would be an improvement. These are the Cadillac of Russian Missionary boots. Elder Savage had a pair of these and whenever a discussion of boots came up the debate ended with this particular type of Ecco’s. Thank you so much. I think mission Karma has caught up with me, after months of lousy shoes and bed I have the best of each.
Whoa gotta go, love
Rob

Just thought I would let you know that I still read the letters from your missionary faithfully. and thoroughly enjoy them...
I also check in on Wo Die Liee Wohnt for a good laugh!!
I hope everything is going great in your job, but especially hoping that you still have one during these bad economic times...
You're lucky you left Wasatch when you did! With all the budget cuts we are all going to be taking on more jobs (custodial; data keeping; music, keyboard, library, and P.E. teaching, etc.), for the same pay, and no prep time... ]-:
Say HI to your family for me...
Love ya, Lyn
